Fans and former colleagues have joined forces to wish to Gary a very happy 50th birthday.
Through social media, Gary's family have been appealing for video messages to read to the former Boro, Burnley, Preston North End and Blackpool star.
The family say they have been inundated with messages of support for Parky, so we thought we'd share a few with you on our official blog.
